The last hurricane of the 2008 season was Zeke. It was a Cat 1, with winds of 80 mph. As the eye neared Catlantis, it weakened to a tropical storm. As it moved onto land, it weakened down to a tropical depression and died.
There was a minimal amount of damage. It uprooted some small trees. It tore up weakened parts of structures. (Like drive thrus) It tore limbs/leaves off of big trees. Some shingles came off of roofs along with tar paper. There was also flooding and tornado damage too. Around the eye wall there was heavy rainfall totals.
Most everyone evacuated ahead of the storm. Their plan was to boat up to Tokyo. They didn't want to boat up to Spring Valley. THat would have been too dangerous because Hurricane Zeke could have damaged Spring Valley. So they took the line between Catlantis and Dogtopia toward Toyko. They arrived safely.
Hurricane Zeke once was a Cat 4 when in open water. Luckily, it didn't hit anything during that time. That's when everyone decided to evacuate Catlantis.
